Jim Collins – Good To Great Book Review Good To Great by Jim Collins is a book that has been sitting on my bookshelf for awhile now. I finally got a chance to read it, and wanted to share an in-depth review of some of the lessons I learned in it.
For years, this question preyed on the mind of Jim Collins. Are there companies that defy gravity and convert long-term mediocrity or worse into long-term superiority? And if so, what are the universal distinguishing characteristics that cause a company to go from good to great?
Collins states that this process of “buildup and breakthrough” appears in the transformations of each of the good-to-great companies. The flywheel is a coherent symbol that encapsulates many of the good-to-great themes within one unified model.
